    Bandwidth limit while playing


    So, I have a suggestion. I downloaded RE4 (which is a complete single player game and isn't required internet connection in order to play). I decided to download another game and continue playing RE4. When I'm not playing, the download speed is the fastest that my internet connection can get (i.e using all my bandwidth). When I'm playing, however, the download speed drastictly slows down in the background. I contacted Microsoft to see if there is any configuration that can solve my problem and there isn't anything I can do it to fix. So, I was hoping that in the future Microsoft can make anything to give the user the choice to whether or not their wanted to impose a limit to download speed while playing. I mean, it's a complete single player game, no need to slow down download speed just because I'm playing.

    Usually your router and use your QoS

    Thats what its for

    Managing your network

    You never do it in devices and yes thats what a router is for

    Instead of using the USB cable turn your phones hotspot setting on. Connect the console to the hotspot via Wifi and you can possibly play online. This is not likely going to be a good experiences though due to limited bandwidth and potential lag; this
    would be game dependent.

    While this can be done it is not a recommended setup.
