Ban on Xbox despite my very subtle response and they was messaging me for 2 days.

So I was recently banned on xbox live for replying to someone with a very subtle rude reply and I dint even spell any sear words in my defense however that's not even why i'm annoyed, this person was using swear words and talking about my mum in disgusting
ways and so obviously I reported every single message which was a violation (at least 7 messages) I would assume I'm not allowed to repeat the things they were saying on here. They never got banned and continued talking about my mum for the next 2 days and
the only bad thing I put was shut up in a more rude manor but in an abbreviation not even the actual words and I got banned and hes still continuing to message me mocking how hes not banned and I am while I am banned. I don't know if he has family working
for the this business or what but how he has received such special privileges on xbox live to avoid being banned is actually a joke.

In these situations, it is recommended to block the player's profile to avoid receiving messages or invitations. You can also report the profile so that it can be reviewed by the xbox team and take the necessary measures.

You violated the code of conduct and got banned because of it. I am guessing it will take a few more days and the other person will get suspended or banned.

The Enforcement Team uses a queuing system that sorts incoming reports by "reliability" and "urgency".

The more correct reports a person sends in, the more "reliable" their reports are. So if you have never ever reported a person (or repeatedly reported a person despite them not having violated the rules), you might have a "low reliability", and your reports
are queued at the end of the queue.

Also, the more people report a single person, the "more urgent" that report gets, which makes it move up faster through the queue.

So it might be, that the person reporting you has already baited many users into responding with a "bad" message, and they "correctly" reported that violation. That means, their reports have a higher credibility and are worked on faster.

Add to the fact, that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, not all Enforcement Team Members can go to work, so the Enforcement Team is understaffed, and the processing time for the report queue is longer than normal.

Because of these combined factors, it might be that his report was seen "earlier" by the remaining Enforcement Team, as his report went up faster through the queue.

But rest assured: All your reports WILL be reviewed and that person WILL be suspended, as soon as an Enforcement Team member got to your report.

Your "credibility" will then improve, and future reports of you will then also move up faster through the reporting queue.

In the mean time, simply block and mute the offending Profile on the console, so they can't message you anymore.
