ban not lifted

I received (wrongly) a communication ban which I sucessfully got overturned on review. I received an email last saturday morning at 5am approx to tell me that the ban was overturned. I am still banned 5 days later and have wasted my time with the so called
xbox support team. Why has my ban not been lifted even though i successfully had it reviewed? What comeback do I have? Why are the support team not able to have ANY communication with the enforcement team? This needs sorting

Support holds no power over bans/suspensions. The XBLPET handles those matters. If you were banned for 2 weeks on 01/05/2013 at 10:45 pm for example, it seems only natural to me that you won't be unbanned until 10:45 pm today.

I see it now. I didn't see it earlier probably because it was on the second page.

 

Sorry to hear it. It may be that your account is stuck in that mode. Please try deleting your gamertag then power cycle by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down then redownload your tag again. Hopefully this will solve your
issue.

 

This has not worked. I have been unable to communicate with my friends now since saturday because of this and is becoming more and more frustrating. Somebody from enforcement needs to get in contact with me and get this mess sorted and explain to me why
the moderator who dealt with the false complaint against me was not able to comprehend context!

 

That sucks! All I could suggest is wait until enforcement get in touch. They have usually been helpful when I have contacted them in the past.

 

The support team and enforcement team are two separate departments entirely much like standard police and IAB (internal affairs bureau). One handles day to day activity the other handles problems in house to ensure everything runs smoothly.

As for your situation. If it's been overturned then either someone did not set your account up correctly or the team found something that readded your ban. You will have to wait on the enforcement team to see what happens or wait it out.

Next time follow the rules or face justice.

well excuse me mr ambassador but you have no idea about my case and the fact that the ban was overturned should tell you that the initial ban was in error. I was banned for supposedly telling someone to kill themselves when what actually happened was I
was explaining to the tryhard that killing them-self to avoid being killed by another player was against the spirit of the game. Whoever the moderator was who dealt with the malicious complaint clearly didn't comprehend context. You may like to climb down
from your high horse every now and then.

 

The enforcement team is only contactable through the case review process unless the email you received provided contact info.

As someone previously mentioned, double check at enforcement.xbox.com that your account did not receive a separate suspension that you could be serving even though you had one overturned.

 

There are no outstanding issues. The ban was overturned on review for the reasons I gave previously.
