    HI Mods!

    today as a joke i messaged my close friend,Gamertag DELTA PRIME X7,with a message that can be considered offensive.As a joke,he reported me and now i have a comm ban for 1 week.Is there any way that this could be repealed?Message proof from Delta?

    Comm banned for no reason

    i was communication banned for no reason. Friend said he reported me for the lols and said that hope i dont get banned cause i actually reported you haha. This ban was honestly a joke and me and my friend always say stuff to each other. I'm 19 years old
    he's 17 we joke around all the time. Just wondering if i can get rid of this comm ban cause all its doing is wasting my live that i payed for.

    You would need to go to http://enforcement.xbox.com to see about submitting a case review. That is the only way to contact the enforcement team.

    No because I was reported yesterday after having a joke with my friend through messages and was banned like 2 minutes later

    Doesn't matter if your friend only reported you as a joke,you got suspended because you were caught violating the ToU/CoC.

    You don't get suspended for no reason,in fact your friend could get into trouble for abuse of the reporting feature.

    As an ambassador you would know that any report is thoroughly investigated before any enforcement action is issued.

    You can go to the enforcement site
    here     for more info & to file for a case review if eligible.

    You can not be in the Insider program if you have had any enforcement action on your account within the past 12 months.

    You can also expect to be removed from the ambassador program as you can not be an ambassador if you have had any type of enforcement action.

    It’s a permanent suspension and I haven’t done anything in violation severe enough to be banned that’s for sure. Comms ban sure. Some people have excess of 5 comms bans with no permanent suspension. So it’s not abusing the system when a group of gamers come together to report one person to get them removed from a game because I wasn’t “going with the flow” of what they wanted? The system is dumb. If they look at all your messages why don’t they look at who messaged first and who violated the terms FIRST in the conversation? If the person sending the report violated the terms of agreement their whole report should be NULL. That way you can’t have bully’s report victims and get them perma banned. The whole ban system needs a rework. They aren’t showing why I got permanently suspended either when my other comms ban has the reason. Also, my other comms ban was for a typo, nice.
