Ban does not match the violation

I was banned on my Xbox LIVE Account, the gamertag being , because I sent a message with vulgar content. However, this was my first ban on the account, and through friends and past accounts, I know that only my messages should be blocked
for my first ban. However, I can't use party communication features, and I don't think it's very fair, because it was my first ban. If you are a Microsoft employee reading this, please consider reviewing my case. I realize what I did was wrong, that I
shouldn't have done it, and I understand why I have a ban, but I think that I should still be able to talk in Xbox live parties. A 2 week ban for all communication for using a singular swear once seems a little overkill, and I think that blocking my messages
should be punish enough.

Locked: My Console Has been Banned

It says: This console has been banned for violations of the Terms of Use. To protect the Xbox Live Service and its members. Microsoft does not provide de tails about console bans. There is no recourse for Terms of Use Violations. Does any one have any help?

Console has been permanently banned from Xbox Live

Microsoft does not provide details about device bans due to security reasons.

However, device bans would typically occur from the following:

- Repeated, egregious violations of the code of conduct.

- Account fraud, phishing, spamming.

- Hacking, modding.

Sorry to hear about your ban. Unfortunately you understanding of how suspension work is not accurate. Communication suspensions means all forms of communications and the severity of the suspension is based on what the enforcement team considers the offence
to be as it relates to the code of conduct. A good rule of thumb is; Xbox Live is a rate E for everyone service and all communications needs to be at that level. You can find a copy of the code at the link that Smwuthes gave you in addition to a link called
"Stay Safe" which will explain all the enforceable items. Stay safe and play safe.

Using a VPN to bypass region restrictions violates the terms of service and would put you at risk for being banned. Codes are not guaranteed to work if your actual location does not match your physical location.

It's not recommended to create an account that does not match the region you live in (and is actually a violation of the terms of service and can risk banning). Because you live in a region that is not supported by Live, you will have issues downloading
content because it won't be available in your region.

Got an update. It says in this case the account ban has been lifted. However future violations would result in a ban.

Does this mean I could be banned for using avatar accessories in the future? No where does it apologize or state that the current gamerpic must be changed.

I guess I have to just wait and see after the next multiplayer match I win if I get banned for something unlocked on a snoopy game. I think I'm ready for it actually.
