Ban DDoSers

To whom it may concern,



There are multiple accounts on Xbox Live that have been participating in the federal crime of DDoSing in Overwatch competitive games. This has been an ongoing situation since at least the beginning of season 10 in April and has continued to be a problem
to this day. These two specific players have no less than five alternate accounts that they use in hopes that they will not be caught. These accounts are named to impersonate other players by changing L's to capital i's or vice versa, inviting players to parties,
pulling their IP addresses, and hitting them offline both during competitive matches as well as random times. Dozens upon dozens upon dozens of players have reported every one of the accounts, and Xbox has taken absolutely no action against them whatsoever.



I have also multiple screenshots of incriminating evidence against these two players, including an incredibly arrogant tweet posted by one of them saying that we have no evidence to get his console banned, followed by a message sent to a friend of mine,
from one of the accounts threatening to hit him offline for a week.



The thing that absolutely blows my mind about this entire situation is Xbox's apparent apathy and unwillingness to take action against players committing literal federal crime, however people receive a six-month communication ban for swearing in a message.
It is completely ridiculous and downright unacceptable conduct by Xbox of failure to uphold their own community standards as well as federal law. Simply banning the accounts will not do a single thing to stop the evident DDoSing "epidemic" going on in Overwatch
Top 500 judging by how many alternate accounts they have both created to avoid being caught, I truly believe banning their consoles is the only way to stop federal crimes from being committed on Xbox Live servers. However, after three months of hundreds of
reports against both of the main accounts as well as all of the above listed alternate accounts, reaching out to Xbox customer service by email, phone, and Twitter, and having absolutely zero action taken against these players, I STILL do not realistically
expect Xbox to actually do anything about it.

Just because Xbox does not tell you if someone has been suspended, or banned or what ever action they have taken. Does not mean they do not care.

Xbox investigate all complaints handed to them. They do this because they want to make Xbox a safer place for all those who use their service. Naming people on these forums is only going to result in Enforcement Actions taken against you, nor them.

just so they can continue to get away with it because xbox won't do anything no matter how many complaints you file.

 

Hi, have a read of this, it might help you in understanding that Microsoft do take a stance against ddos attacks, but they do need everyone to help in reporting the people that do it, and as it is a crime, should be reported to the
law enforcement agency that deals with this, as well as reporting this to your internet provider too.

You were addressed in a previous post. The only thing that you can do from your end is report the users on the console. As Stuart has said, if you can also contact your local law enforcement. Please do not repost threads after they have been locked. Thanks.
