ban appeal for permanent banned account of mine.

hello my name is brendan, my account (xfrostyreaperx) was banned 2 years ago for 9999 years, i think i have learned my lesson, i will never edit my profile with a mod tool again, please give me a second chance,life is all about getting a second chance to
make things right. i love xbox but i cant help the fact that i my account that i spend over $500 worth of games,dlcs,themes and more...has become banned because of a stupid thing i did,please i just ask for a second chance.

Acct Banned - questions

Yeah, if his account got banned, there is probably a good reason, unfortunately. This isn't an official Microsoft site, but if you call them, they should be able to help you. Hopefully it's a temporary ban and not a permanent ban. You can also call 1-800-4MY-XBOX. I hope this helps!

 

Enforcement on Xbox

Today i received an email that my account from permanently banned. I went onto the link that they posted and it turns out i got banned for soliciting etc. I submitted a case review and went looking for more information. Most suspensions/bans are 1,7, or 14 days and my type of suspension followed under that list but then it said something about if the action was egregious or excessive bans, it could lead to a permanent one. In my case i tried selling my og gamertag, the guy messaged me about it, i told him how much and what payment. He declined, i said ok, and then we didn't message again AND no personal info was transferred, so in my defense it was not egregious. I have only had 2 ENFORCEMENTS, a good reputation, and no consecutive or reappearing issues. I do not think that deserves a permanent ban from all my years of gaming and achievement i have earned. There is clearly a flaw in the system.

 

take the ban as a 2nd chance, you did something wrong and broke lives tou, move on and start again. be thankful you can create a new account.

Not very likely, permanent bans are just that, permanent. You did the wrong thing and now you have to suffer the consequences.

At this point the suspension is permanent and you have absolutely no recourse or hope of getting it undone. Because it is more than 12 months ago you are not able to file a case review which is your only recourse. To file a case review the suspension has
to be longer than 24 hours and the suspension must gave occured in the the last 12 months which is no longer the case. I am sorry, the support person was incorrect. In this case it is indeed permanent. The Xbox Enforcement page regarding the Case Review process
