    No. Your Microsoft account balance can only be used on the Live marketplace for digital content.

    Hey there,

    Xbox Live Gold memberships cannot be purchased with Microsoft Account balance, but with a credit card on file instead. Microsoft Account balance can be used on purchases within the Xbox Store.

    Goto your console and default should be ms account

    If You mean for memberships read the card..

    currency cards cant be used for memberships

    And no ms account cannot be used from the website

    it may be the case your Region is not the same you redeemed the ppc on.

    did you use redeem code on your console or did you redeem it on xbox.com?

    could you check which Region is Default when you visit xbox.com?

    if it is different than your Profile Region, this would be the reason.

    unfortunatly ppc for € work in multiple regions instead of aborting with an error.

    Which country do you live in and which country is your gamertag set for? If your gamertag is set for a different country than you live in and you did not purchase a currency card for that region you will not be able to use the amount until your gamertag
    has been moved to the correct region.

    What are you trying to purchase? Gold memberships and music passes cannot be purchased using currency.

    Where are you trying to purchase from? Currency cannot be used from the xbox.com website. It can only be used on the console.

    Finally, remember that even if you have currency listed that matches your gamertag's region you will still need to add a payment option to cover any possible overages that your purchase might be. For instance, if you have $50 in currency on your account
    and you want to purchase something that is $49.99 you will need to cover the taxes that would be incurred by your purchase.
