    Baffled! Need Help Connecting to Xbox 360 Live


    As a former Verizon Customer. I was able to access Xbox 360 Live without any issues. I moved houses and now have Comcast. I have been unable to access Xbox 360 live since becoming a Comcast Infinity Customer. Here are the details:

    I have the Cisco® Model DPC3939 DOCSIS 3.0 16x4 Wireless Residential Voice Gateway. Because it doesn't reach with great strength into the room where I have my xbox 360, I have purchased an extender. I bought the NETGEAR WIFI Range Extender WN2000RPT. The
    signal strength is very strong now.

    My xbox 360 will connect to the network (during the "test your connection") but fails trying to connect to the internet.

    I've been at this for weeks now, and have not been able to get past this issue. Can anyone provide some help? Because my 360 did not come with wireless, I am using a wireless adapter that has always worked in the past and that seems to still be working now
    since it finds my wireless network right away. Thank you!

    External hard drive - clarification needed please

    Hey everybody,

    I was wondering if someone could tell me what I can do with my external hard drive connected to the xbox one in simple terms. I have read so much about the new update that came in but I am baffled by all the technical talk. I have realised that I need a USB 3.0 to connect (which I am going to buy) , but will it allow me to play my recorded family movies from my old mobile phone through it like the 360 did? The files are mk4 and avi?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Before doing anything else, first try connecting your console directly to your router using an ethernet cable to see if it connects to XBL that way.

    Will help to identify exactly where the problem lies.

    Hi Chris, thanks for your suggestions. It's Xbox One that I have problems with. I am connected to Xbox Live but cannot access the Microsoft store as it says I have no internet connection. I have switched everything off and rebooted my router too but
    this hasn't helped. I'm completely baffled.

    This issue just began occurring to me this evening after working fine last night. I've had a 360 for over five years and have never had this issue. Nothing's changed on my home network which makes this issue particularly baffling. My Xbox can connect to
    network and internet, but not Live. What gives?

    The Xbox support team is currently working on resolving the issues with Xbox Live connection, the workaround to connect now is to select "Test connection" then select "Test Xbox Live Connection" after that you the connection to Xbox Live should work, if
    you restart your Xbox 360 you may need to run the connection test again, hope that this info help.
