Bad Rep

I have been off line All summer, I sold my day one back in late June, My rep looks like this April-Amber, May-Green, June-Green, July-Green, August-Green, September-Red, I just bought a new copy of BF4 an a new xbox one without Kinect on Sept 17 an now I
cant join a regular mainstream MP matches due to a LOW rep.

Don't bother yourself with Rep. I doubt there is anyone on xbox live with perfect scores.

We are unable to comment on any Enforcement actions or reputation feedback that you may have received here on our forums, Twitter, or phone/chat. The reputation you see on the console is the most accurate. In order to increase your reputation, you will need
to not be reported by others. To help with that, you will want to follow the steps listed on the
Enforcement site:

Avoid activity that other players are likely to view as unfair or unsportsmanlike.

Certain types of behavior are widely-viewed as negative, inappropriate, or disruptive by the Xbox Live community, including but not limited to:

• Team-killing or betraying other players
• Going idle for long periods during gameplay
• Intentionally or repeatedly crashing into other players in racing games
• Frequently dropping out of multiplayer matches
• Hoarding weapons or vehicles with the intent of preventing teammates from using them
• Denying other players time to select a move or play in strategy or sports games
• Being overly critical of the play style or shortcomings of other players

Even if you aren’t personally troubled by such behavior, keep in mind that reputation is a reflection of how the Xbox Live community at large views an account’s activities.

Avoid making unsportsmanlike comments.

Smack talk is an understandable part of competitive online gaming, but not all players react to smack talk in the same way. Routinely making snarky or condescending comments, regardless of whether you won or lost the match, will increase the likelihood of
receiving negative feedback. Smack talk may be viewed as even less appropriate if the particular game or gametype that you’re playing is not intended to be competitive.

Reduce unwanted background noise and audio feedback.

Many players find background noise distracting and feel it disrupts the gaming experience. If your headset or Kinect microphone regularly picks up background noise (such as music, fans or air conditioning units, barking dogs, background conversations, etc.)
other players may not have a positive reaction. To ensure other players have a pleasant experience, consider finding ways to reduce background noise or mute your microphone when not talking.

Play a wide range of games and gametypes.

If you routinely receive negative feedback due to unsportsmanlike behavior or communications in a specific game or gametype, it may become more challenging to find good matches or new players in that game title. By playing different games and interacting
with other players in a positive and productive way, your reputation score can improve.

rep doesn't keep you from joining matches, its really meaningless, best have a look at your nat

 

i hope that's true, because I been working on a solution with BF4 & Microsoft for 5 days now.

 

Bad rep means you killed people that couldn't handle it so they gave you the bad rep. Wear it as a badge of honor.

 

I honestly feel for you sir, mine has been dropped to avoid me, by the people I destroy on ea ufc.

I agree with jev, we should wear it as a badge of honour, but its impossible for us to find games with people now, its nothing to do with NAT, we can only connect with other bad rep players which may aswell be a total multiplayer ban. ive spoke to support
and enforcement and they just give you the same copy and paste *** answer.try to be nicer with people even though its *** impossible to even try and play.

The amount of money we spend on these services, should allow us to speak to someone who can actually help with our problems, but its as if its a free service and we should be happy with whatever response we get. well I am most certainly not happy, the responses
are like talking to a politician, they will ignore your valid points, and spit the same crap as they do with everyone else. they do not care, I personnaly think this is done to force us to buy another account, which I hope nobody does.

bad rep has nothing to do with connecting, only people who have avoided you keep you from connecting to them, no one else, my rep is low from bf, but it doesn't keep me from connecting to anyone who hasn't actually avoided me, so back to the drawing board

Yup, the power they put in the hands of potential d'bags is unbelievable. You own some punk in a BF4 match and he and all his fruity little "BFF" clan pals can take turns reporting you for the same made up reason and all of a sudden you only have 2 servers
to choose from ... Yeah way to go XBL, this will never get abused ever ... At least before on the 360 rep alone didn't affect your online experience. What a bunch of douchebaggy crap... How the heck could you be getting "bad rep" if you're almost always in
a party? ... It's not like they can hear you ... Glad I already own a PS4

 

they're trying to "community organize" see? I don't give a crap about real life communities I give less than crap about online communities, I see some problems for xbox soon, I think in a few years xbox is gonna be like wii and real gamers are gonna be playing

The solution is to have your friends rate you and you'll be fine, unless you have no friends, in which case your're f'ed.
