Bad lag but good connection?

So the past week or 2 I have had a bad online experience with gaming. My lag on my xbox has made it almost unplayable. I have done the basics; reset modem/router, reset xbox, and clear mac data. Doing these do not help. I contacted my isp (charter) and they
ran tests on their end, which ended up fine. My modem came up running fine, a wired speed test of 112mb download, 5.6mb upload, 50ms latency. Wireless speed of 56mb download, 4.7mb upload, same latency. Yet for some reason, my games keep rubberbanding and
having multiple second delays in gameplay. Any way I can fix this? I have ran these speed tests both on my laptop and xbox one. Xbox showing the most drastic results

Sorry to hear that Paramarabo, could it possibly be the type of games you are playing? For example when I played call of duty MW3 everything ran fine untill I downloaded a map pack. I kept getting put in games with players from America and I'm from Aus.
Suffice to say when I set my game to not play the dlc no lag as I played with people from my country. Could just be bad luck with server players. Is your NAT open?

I'm sorry to hear about the issue. Does this happen with every game or only some? Which games are you running into issues with? Does the issue persist if you connect your console to your network using a wired connection?

I've had the exact same thing going on over the last 3 months with BF4. I also have Charter. When I run my test for connection on Xbox One it's about 40mb download and 4 mbupload with no packet loss and great ping over the 5GHZ Band. I bought a new Mu-MIMO
Netgear Nighthawk very expensive wireless router after going through about 5 new routers and returning them. Also had Charter come out 10 times prior to getting a new router. They replaced a few things each time, but nothing has helped with the lag on BF4
or on the Xbox 1. I've completely reset my xbox multiple times, put the QOS for XBox 1 as the top priority on my router and nothing is helping. Also, it doesn't matter if anyone else is in the house streaming anything or not. I could be there all alone
and it will still lag and rubberband. I'm so sick of it. I'm starting to think the wireless card in the xbox is just failing or old, but whenever i stream anything or play anything else, everything is fine...

BF4 is my favorite game and it is actually a good stress reliever for me, but the lag is killing me and stressing me out even further after i get home from work.

Microsoft, I NEED HELP! what can i try?
