    Unfortunately you were just unlucky, it happens. I hope you find a solution so your son can game again. Don't be put of by a rogue console. I wish you well, reading my post it came across as a bit blunt, so apologies for that.

    I would definitely say its the graphics card, I have had a pc do the same as what you are experiencing, Take it back to the shop if possible

    Sounds like the graphics card has gone.

    You would need to send it of for repair.

    I had this with my slim when it first came out. A call to support resulted in it being returned as faulty.

    Get it swapped mate.

    Thank you for your advise, however I have replaced the HDMI cable, Factory reset the console, tried the console on another TV and have used the alternative scart input and the graphics are still the same :(
