Bad Company 2 on Xbox One - Require a subscription to EA Access or Live Gold?

Does anyone know if a subscription to EA Access or Xbox Live Gold is required to play the backward compatible version of Bad Company 2 on the Xbox One???

just to be sure, the EA Access vault is something that requires people on the Xbox One to have an EA Access subscription, so it's not Free.

and i want to buy 2 codes of 15$ and redeem them

i saw at payment 2 options:

1 month 5$

12 months 30$ both require a card or paypal

and the 3rd option redeem code

the 3rd option is a ea access subscription code or there you can use money prepaid cards?

where i can find to buy ea access subscription codes?

i'm not from usa,so gamestop.com isn't an option for me

no you dont need them to play the game you can buy it digitally or use a disc

This will depend with the launcher. On the Xbox console an Xbox Live Gold subscription is just required to play an online multiplayer game. EA Play subscription is a library where you can access EA games, if you already purchased the game you shouldn’t need other subscription if you’re not on Xbox.

Just a friendly reminder though that to play a paid online multiplayer game, an Xbox Live Gold subscription is required. Destiny 2 is a free-to-play game that does not require an Xbox Live Gold.

The Game Pass for Console is a subscription where we can access hundreds of games on the Game Pass Library, but an Xbox Live Gold subscription is still needed to play an online multiplayer game. The Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes both Game Pass for Console, Xbox Live Gold, and an addition EA Play.

You won't have Gamepass.

Gamepass is a subscription that provides access to a library of games that can be played without purchasing them. Similar to Netflix.

While "Gamepass Ultimate" provided access to that same library and also gives access to Xbox Gold and EA Play.

Ea Play is also like gamepass that offers their own game library that can be accessed while the Subscription is active.

With Gamepass Ultimate, you'll have Gold, Gamepass, and Ea Play all in one Subscription.

However, what you purchased (Xbox Live) is Xbox Gold. This is a subscription that provides access to online gaming.

It is not Gamepass so if you are looking for an active Gamepass after redeeming that 12-month Subscription, Gamepass will not show but Xbox Live or Xbox Gold should show.

To continue to have the license to play the Xbox One games It is required to keep a gold subscription active on the account. And NO sharing a gold subscription with another profile does not work.

The 360 games are not affected by the gold subscription requirement.

Once you renew the gold subscription you will gain access back to the licenses for the Xbox One Games with Gold.
