    Bad color reproduction on The Martian UHD BR in 24fps mode.


    I'm having an issue with The Martian UHD BR playing in HDR on a Sony 940d TV.

    The picture looks washed out. The black bars and scenes that should be space black look grey while playing the movie. Returning to the Home screen the video color looks correct. I've only noticed this with The Martian.

    Disabling 24fps mode in the display settings fixes the issue.

    Netflix: No UHD on XBOX One S

    Is there a way to see resolution played back at? I press info when watching the martian and it says HEVC as codec and in the video output settings on the xbox it says: Tv Resolution: 4K UHD. Color depth: 30 bits per pixel (10 bits) color space: standard.
    Under advanced settings 24Hz is checked. Allow 4K and 3D ate also checked.

    Am i getting native 4k?

    turn on UHD color in the picture settings on the tv. On mine all but the last mode then worked.

    1.4 not but 1.4b can do 4k/24fps and UHD/30fps. 4k is not interesting... we all have UHD!! 4k is in cinemas and 17:9.

    I really hope the pass thru will work for 4k/UHD!!

    I can verify this issue...Netflix UHD does not work on Xbox One S. I have a Vizio M55-D0 with the latest firmware enabling HD10 support. My TV is now recognized by the One S video settings as 4K HDR capable. I am able to enable HDR support and it works beautifully
    with the Blu-Ray app (Mad Max 4K Blu Ray playing 4K, 24fps, HDR as verified by the Vizio settings app). However when I start Netflix, the screen flashes, colors mute, and video fails to switch to HDR or 24fps. Netflix app is clearly broken right now for HDR.
    If I switch HDR off on the One S, Netflix app is fine, plays 4K correctly, colors are fine obviously no HDR.

    i have the same problem. Tv is a Samsung UE55MU7009. Screen keeps flickering if HDMI UHD Color mode is activated.
