Bad answers regarding Xbox One Chat adapter Cable issue.

Hello everyone, I had an inconvenient chat with the Italian Xbox Support. Before starting to explain my issue, I wish to say that my console is no longer under warranty but I wanted to try anyway because I sent my Xbox One Chat Adapter around 3 or 4 times
to the support center, everytime for the same issue (Cable broken).

Long story here:

- The Cable of my Xbox One Chat Adapter does not work anymore even if this is the, like I said, 3rd one (or 4th, can't really remember at this time). Trust me when I say that I use my accessories very carefully.

- After verifying my Warranty status, the behavior of the assistant changed completely.

- Suddenly she never EVER heard about this problem.

- She told me, because I shipped the product more times, that probably I WAS THE PROBLEM.

- I insisted telling her that almost every xbox one chat adapter user, that needs the 2.5 to 3.5 jack have the same issue. And all my friends with the same accessory changed it at last 2 times.

- She insisted to let me have a new one for 22€.

- I Gently explained that I find useless to buy a new one if it works and it's only a cable issue. Why buy a new chat adapter for 22€ if I need ONLY the cable and it will be broken after 3 moths?

- She kept offering me a 22€ new adapter and suggested me to send a letter to microsoft with a complain... and yes, she never heard about this problem.

- I told her again that after being over Xbox Live for 9 years, being an ambassador and having 3 Gaming communities, I definetly heard about this problem and that I helped a lot of users with this problem, suggesting them to contact the support.

- I ended the chat explaining that I know that she had a very limited support options and I don't blame her, it's just awful to be treated like garbage if you your warranty it's over. Expecially if it's a common issue.

Now, I opened this thread for two reasons, for report my FIRST bad experience with the xbox support after 9 years, and for ask if there's a replacement cable sold separately in europe. I bought 3 adapters and none of them works. If somebody know the exact protocol
of the Xbox One chat adapter cable or can link me a working one on Amazon (UK,ES,IT,DE,FR), I would love to buy a new one.

PS4 Chat cable ? Ms adapter

I have xp500's from my 360 that came with a Bluetooth puck and no chat cable.I have the Ms adapter for the Xbox One but I still need to get a chat cable in order to use my xp500's for chat and was wondering if the Ps4 chat cable works as its cheaper than a 360 talkback cable and looking at it would mean I could plug it straight into the adapter . Any body tried this ?

Headset/chat question that needs answering

I have a Tritton AX 720 headset that I use for my Xbox One (plugged into the rear optical audio port). However, to receive chat audio that will allow me to talk too, it needs to be plugged into the controller via a cable.

My question is: if I get the Xbox One stereo headset adapter and connect the headset to it, will I still be able to get game audio via the optical cable? Or will it be forced into stereo mode because it's plugged into the adapter?

I have the same exact problem. And I know many of my friends do too.

I've had issues with every single cable of the Xbox One Chat adapter I've bought so far. After a few months of normal usage the cable just breaks. And it becomes impossible to communicate with your friends on Xbox Live. As long as my Xbox
One was still under warranty I could solve the problem: the assistance would just send me a brand new adapter after I sent them my "broken" ones.

Now that my warranty is expired I have to buy the whole new adapter (22 €) everytime the cable breaks. And this is insane. I wasted a lot of time and money trying to find another cable that was suitable for replacement. But every cable I
bought didn't work in the end.

If we won't be able to reach a solution with the Assistance to change JUST THE CABLE, I would like to know as well if someone knows where we can buy it in Europe.
