    Yup. They even have the GFG program give games that have backword compatibility cross play.

    Backwords compatibility

    Hi I'm unable to purchase backwords compatible games. When I view the price for the game I want to purchase it states pounds (sterling) when I click buy it then switches to dollars and I am unable to purchase it. My account is under the United Kingdom
    but for some reason it still says dollars. Please help.

    Backwords compatible not working

    Three possible solutions:

    try a hard reset (press the power button for 10 seconds while console is on, then turn it on again).

    Try to perform a factory reset, but is quite drastical.

    Less drastical but is basically similar: deete your profile and try to downlod it again. Honestly i do not know which files you are going (if there is any) to lose, but this could help

    I have also run into this issue about a year ago. Have you tried rebooting the console, hard rebooting it, re-installing the game, testing your internet connection, or check your XB Live membership at all?
