Backwards Compatiblity

My XBox One simply refuses to load my 360 DISC, I don't want to have to buy it again!

Problems playing an original Xbox game on a 360

The last updates for backwards compatiblity came out in 2009. If your dashboard has updated at all since 2009, then you have the correct updates for backwards compatibility to work.

 

The disc is required to check that you have the game only, the BC version of the game will be downloaded via the internet.

If the disc is damaged and unreadable then try to clean it as best you can, but if it cannot read the disc then you will not be able to install ME2 BC on your XBOne

 

I was able to install both ME2 and ME3 in November-ish (I didn't check to see if they worked), yet when I tried to play it just today I got an error code (I don't remember what it was, but when I looked it up apparently it meant that it was corrupted while
installing or something). So I uninstalled both of them, and now whenever I try to install either of them (keep in mind that when I was at my friends house when I installed them, they almost instantly started installing), they just refuse to be read. ME1 works
fine (a little jittery to start, but when it works, it works totally fine), and the other backwards compatible games work fine (even Red Dead Redemption, where the same problem was happening, although I could attribute that to it being the first day of it
being compatible.
