Backwards Compatible

Hello everyone, most of you guys are having issues with downloading games. So here's some possible solutions.

Need to provide a valid payment option.

You need to add a valid payment option such as a credit card or paypal to order to Games with Gold. Above are some links that are related to making content purchases, Microsoft Support, managing your billing and the
backwards compatibility FAQ.

Available games.

This cannot be stressed enough, please make sure that the game you are trying to play is on the list.

Purchase History.

If the game is unavailable in your "Ready to Install" list, try looking in your purchase history and see if you have purchased or downloaded the game on that specific account. If the game was purchased on a different account, please try using
that profile. If the game(s) are on licensed to your account, please proceed to the Xbox One Store (on your console) and see if you can find the game(s). They should be available on the marketplace, all 104 of them. If you do not own the content, it will simply
say "Bundle Only." If you DO own the content and it says "Bundle Only," there is an issue and Microsoft is aware of the problem.





Redeeming a code.

If you are having an issue redeeming a code for say Fallout 3 on your Xbox One console, you cannot redeem that code on there. You have to do it through Xbox 360 or on here with the link above.

Purchasing Xbox 360 content.

You cannot make Xbox 360 games/DLC purchases on your Xbox One console. You must do it on a 360 or the website.

SNK VS CAPCOM

SNK vs Capcom isn't backward compatible. There's a list of all the backward compatible games and the regions they're backward compatible in on Wikipedia for future reference.

With xbox one backwards compatible games accessories are not compatible. Also only a few games are backwards compatible with more coming

None of the above work if you've never owned an Xbox 360 and are trying to claim the Xbox 360 GwG games for use on the Xbox One. That's the problem. MS is advertising that you now get twice as many games on the Xbox One (due to the BC feature), yet there
is no way to actually claim those games unless you own or previously owned an Xbox 360.

 

I listed these as possible solutions. There are people that owned 360 consoles and are having issues.
