    I noticed when playing Fallout 3 that my account in the Xbox 360 emulator on the Xbox One S was not connecting to Xbox Live. I checked other backwards compatible games that I have and they all give me the same error. I've even tried playing actual Xbox
    One games online and they worked so my console is confirmed to be online. I need help with this. It's messing with my OCD and I'm missing 550 gamer points because they can't register to the cloud because of this. I've also already hard reset my console removing
    everything and with that, I can't add my profile back to the Xbox 360 emulator. My error code is 80151904.

    Backward compatibility

    The Xbox 360 can only play Backward Compatible games if it has an official Xbox 360 hard drive installed, and the game is listed on here If your Xbox 360 needs an update, then just connect the console to Xbox live, and the console will automatically check for the update and ask you to download it. If it does not, then your console probably already has it, and the game you want to play is not backward compatible.

    Areyou trying to play an original xbox gane on your new 360? If so it might not be backwards compatible with the 360 have a look at this link for a list of backwards compatible games

    Backwards compatible games are the same exact games as they are on 360 so you are connecting to 360 Xbox Live. If they were to shut them down, then you wouldn't be able to play any 360 game online.

    The Xbox 360 needs a legit 360 HDD connected for original xbox games to play that are backward compatable.
