backwards compatible profile won't load ( Failed to Write error)

I keep getting an error when i try to play my backwards compatible games.

the error says "Failed To Write- Failed to write Gamer Profile settings. One possible reason is if you removed your xbox 360 Memory unit. Changes to your profile settings might not be saved."

Is this happening to anyone else and do you know a fix.

P.S. it even shows I have 0 gamer score on the backwards compatible profile

Backwards compatible

so I load up black ops 2 on my xbox one now that it is backwards compatible. My xbox one is connected to xbox live but when it loads up the 360 loading screen and etc and tries to connect my profile to xbox live on the 360 end, it won't connect?

i don't see why microsoft won't make the next xbox backward compatible. and i am sure we can transfer our profiles to the new abox.

Hey there MrGiggleButts!

That's an odd error you're receiving. Can you try redownloading your profile again while in the Xbox 360 Backward Compatible title? To download your profile press both the menu and the view button on your controller while in the Xbox 360 game to pull up
the guide.

Once the guide is up scroll down to Download Profile and re-enter your information. Let us know how it goes

wired... I thought I already answered my own post and closed this. I had to re-download my Xbox One profile to get it to work. Downloading my profile on the backwards compatible dashboard wouldn't work. It was probably because I have the 2 step verification
process setup for my account.

Hey, MrGiggleButts! That would be correct. You would need to use the App Password from the account site to be able to download your profile in the 360 Guide. Thanks for letting us know you're all set and how you solved it.

I just bought an xbox one, the gears of war edition. I loaded GOW3 and it won't play it, gives an error code that isn't recognized when I plug it into the xbox error code lookup online. THEN I try to load in Blacks Ops and Black Ops II and get a notice
that they are not backwards compatible discs and to reference the listing of backward compatible games. and they are there. on the list. I wouldn't bought this thing if I knew it was going to be so much of a problem. It's been over 24 hours and I haven't
been able to play ANYTHING. I have a $300 white brick on the shelf below my xbox 360. Why won't this thing recognize supposedly backward compatible games?
