    Backwards compatible games wont play on Xbox one.


    Many people have had this issue, but I haven't seen a single solution yet. Everything else works on the console, but when trying to play a game from the compatible list, the disk drive stops working. I can't eject the disk without a hard reset, and it never loads. Same with DVD's.

    Being that this is well out of warranty I am positive I just have to live with it but maybe, just maybe, there is a fix out there.

    Blacks ops lll wont be on backwards compatibility as it was released on Xbox One.

    If games have been released on 360 and on the One it wont be backward compatible.

    I have an original Xbox game called whacked I wanted to play on my Xbox series x but it's not reading my disc

    Wacked isn't backwards compatible so it wont play on a series x.You'd need an original Xbox to play it.

    That game isn't backwards compatible so you wont be able to play it on any of the Xbox One/Series consoles.

    There is no "fix" or any way around that.

    Only the HD collection is currently on backward compatible list.

    You wont be able to play the standard game as it was developed for the original xbox in 2004.

    To be able to play original xbox games on the 360 and One you need to download an emulator once you insert the disc. It works for all the games that is in the backward compatibility library.
