    Backwards Compatible games say I'm not connected to Xbox live when I actually am


    when I try to play backward compatibile games and try to use the online features it says that my Xbox is not connected to Xbox live and says to do the network checks and that says everything is good and the online features work fine on Xbox one games but
    not on backward compatible games please help quickly

    Trouble acessing... uh... servers?

    I may be having a similar issue. Whenever I play a backwards compatible game, it tells me i'm signed in, but not connected to xbox live. When I try to connect, it says i'm unable to. I can connect fine on my 360 however.

    Profile Download Error - Backwards Compatible Games

    I mean, I'm always connected to Xbox Live on my Xbox one no problem. When I start any xbox 360 Backwards compatible game, it does that and will not connect. When I have tried both wireless and ethernet.

    But Yes it was all through my Linksys and the linksys is connected to the modem.

    Thanks for trying mate but the last step of re downloading my account I can't do as it says I need to be connected to Xbox live even though I am..... thanks anyway

    I fixed myself with a password change. 360 live system not supporting passwords with over 16 characters. So i just set a new, bit shorter password, and it was fixed.

    I'm having the same problem. When I went to play Left 4 Dead 2 about an hour ago, it said I had an update. Afterwards, when I went play it (on my xbox one), it says I'm not connected to xbox live. I am connected to xbox live on my xbox one, but the game
