    Backwards Compatible Games not Working.


    Today I bought GTA 5, Halo 3, Fallout New Vegas, and COD Black Ops, all Xbox 360 games, for my Xbox One S. When I put the discs in, every one of these games came up with the error that the games weren't backwards compatible. I went to the official Xbox list, and Fallout and Black Ops are definately on the list. So why won't any of these games work?

    The One store/website have never been updated to work with the currency system for backwards compatible content. The only way to purchase backwards compatible games with the funds on your account is through a 360 console.

    I bought a 360 game only to find out I can't play it on my Xbox ONE. The at the store lied to me.

    Not all games are backwards compatible. If the game is not listed here it won't work. Backwards compatible games are being added all the time, but backwards
    compatibility is up to the publisher. So not all games will be made compatible.

    No. Minecraft is not backwards compatible.

    There has been no announcement about all 360 games working on the One. Only games that are backwards compatible will work.
