  1. Backwards Compatible Games Not Saving

I am logged into my XBox live account and playing games (Lego Star Wars TCS, Viva Pinata) that have been downloaded onto my console. For some reason, I am unable to save progress to the cloud or my hard drive. I have attempted to remove my profile and add
it again, changing the save location, etc., but nothing seems to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    :)

    Saving Backwards Compatible?

    Hi!

Being in emulation you can not save on HDD, but only on Cloud (in fact every time you log in with the account, it will be told to use a save on Cloud). In this way on another X360 you can have the saves always available.

    Saving Backwards Compatible?

Why can I only save 360 games to the cloud save games and not my Xbox One Harddrive?

Is there any way at all to allow me to save my 360 games without using the cloud?

This is for downloaded titles not discs

  5. I removed my XBox One profile completely. Is there a way to remove just the 360 profile from my XB1?

  6. Yes, To remove just your 360 profile from your xbox one.. Go on your console, @ the home screen, go to the side menu by pushin right on the right analog stick, and go all the way down to the gear icon (the settings) and on the main screen of settings, click
"Remove accounts". Choose the account in which you want to remove and it will be deleted.

  7. Also, the answer to your question would simply be to try manualy saving your game, or try turning your xbox off by holding down the on/off button on your console until it shuts off. Than try to load/save your games to the cloud/hard drive.

    @x iamtoo3GIT x That's not how you remove your 360 profile.

@TappedFuture6 In the 360 emulator, while running a 360 game, press menu & view to open up the guide You can see manage storage, where your 360 profile is stored. Note that it'll readd it if you delete it there. You can also sign out of it to redownload
    the profile.

  9. I read that wrong, i appoligise. Now i understand what you are asking.

The Dukenator is correct, use the emulator to manage your stored profile.

Just incase i was correct, than disregard the above.

    Old saves on Xbox One

No. Since the game is not backwards compatible it's seen as a different game so it won't see your saves from the 360. Also, the only way to transfer saves from a 360 is through the cloud so in a backwards compatible game it wouldn't recognize saves from
    a flash drive.

Can I upload an RE5 saved game from the 360 to play on the One or Series X?

unfortunately the 360 version is not backwards compatible, and the Xbox one version is a separate game and not compatible with the old saves

You need to save to the cloud on your Xbox 360 to have access to backwards compatible game saves.
