Backwards Compatible Games in Xbox Feedback

I noticed that there were no MLB games in the list of games to vote for.

Does that mean that I will both not be getting a new game for the new console and will be unable to play my old MLB games as well?

Will The Darkness 1 get the same treatment as Darkness 2 and be retrocompatible on Xbox One?

Hi, regarding your inquiry, a game becoming backward compatible can depend on a number of factors, including fan demand, the involvement of the game publisher, and additional issues such as licensing. Unfortunately, no one here

Create the option yourself, that's what the feedback site is for after all. Get enough votes and Microsoft will take notice.

The problem comes down to licensing of course. Does the publisher that released the MLB games still have the license? If not then it is going to prove tricky to get it backward compatible on the One.

No, it was put on the store for a month then taken down. Even a mod stated skate three was backwards compatible: Mister Retr0 ADMIN

Xbox is adding new games to backward compatibility often but for specific games you have to give feedback to the developers.
