Backwards compatible games I purchase are not showing up as owned games

Thanks for the response, unfortunately it doesnt help. When I buy the 360 games on the xbox one it gives me the error I dont have a liscence for them even though they show up in my order history. So they auto install but I cant play them then if I unistall them I have no option to reinstall because they dont show up in my owned games and the store only has the option to buy them again. Also as I said earlier this only happens with 360 games I buy from the store, normal games I buy work fine and 360 games I download from gamepass work fine.

That game is not backwards compatible, so it won't work on a One. In order for backwards compatible games to show up for your son on the One, they would need to be purchased on his account.

Only games that are backwards compatible will show up as ready to install on the One. Since that game is not backwards compatible, you would need to purchase the One version in order to play it on the One.

Yes. Any games you already own that are backwards compatible will show up as ready to install.
