    Backwards compatible game won't connect to Xbox Live


    I'm trying to play the 360 version of Walking Dead Season 2. Xbox One is

    connected fine and all online functionality seems to be working. When I

    boot up the game, I bring up the 360 menu and choose "connect to Xbox

    Live" and it then tells me that I can't connect to Xbox Live, error code

    8007007A. I've tried resetting my console and it didn't fix it. I

    haven't played a BC game in a few months but I've never had this problem

    before. I just tried it with friend's account on this same Xbox and it connects to XBL with backwards compatible games just fine. Why can't my account connect!

    Please tell me someone knows a fix.

    Backwards compatible

    so I load up black ops 2 on my xbox one now that it is backwards compatible. My xbox one is connected to xbox live but when it loads up the 360 loading screen and etc and tries to connect my profile to xbox live on the 360 end, it won't connect?

    Backwards Compatible games dont work with wired connection

    Im unable to connect to xbox live while playing backwards compatible games. I was using a wired connection and couldn't connect, but when I switched to a wireless connection I was able to.

    I have I tired deleting and redownloading my Xbox One profile and I deleted my 360 cache on the One as well. Now when I try to download my 360 profile it just gives me the 8007007A code!

    My 360 account isn't working on my actual 360 either. My account works

    fine on my One but I get that 8007007A error code whenever I try to

    log into a 360 in any way on that account.

    I bought a 360 game only to find out I can't play it on my Xbox ONE. The at the store lied to me.

    Not all games are backwards compatible. If the game is not listed here it won't work. Backwards compatible games are being added all the time, but backwards
    compatibility is up to the publisher. So not all games will be made compatible.

    I have a question about backwards compatibility

    If it's not backwards compatible (and this game isn't) then no, it won't work. You can view the backwards compatibility list
    here. If a game is not on that list, you can't play it on an Xbox One.

    That game is not backwards compatible so it won't work on the 360. I'm not sure about the connection issues though.

    Wait until E3? Why?

    No backwards compatibility = Don't care

    Mandatory game installs = Do it

    Blocked used games = Don't care. Prefer new.

    Internet connection required = I pull my hair out if my xbox won't connect to live.

    I guess I'm all set. Ready to pre-order.
