So this is weird. I bought a game from long ago called "Death by Cube". However, when the new BC games were released, it shows that I never bought Death by Cube. How can this be? How? Was I hacked?

    :)

Hi there Radiant welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. No, sometimes this is a glitch that can occur to our profiles, have you tried logging off and on from your profile?

Um, I hate to say it, but I think this is a separate version of Death by Cube because I have the original version on Xbox 360 and it was never made BC for Xbox One. The one I see on Xbox One is a separate new version since the BC program has returned. TBH, the new version of Death by Cube is something I disown. So apparently, a virus is the cause.

    Hello Travis,

Thanks for coming to the forums. Microsoft already has a list of games that are becoming backward compatible. they had a voting system in place to recommend different games. Unfortunately, that system is no longer in place. To request backward compatible
games now you will need to get with the developer of the game and request it with them. As they are ultimately responsible for allowing games to become backward compatible.

    Thanks,

    Brad

    Backwards compatible multiplayer

I think it's amazing that backwards compatibility exists, but I don't expect it to be perfect. There have been games that had issues before they were made backwards, so I wouldn't be optimistic that the games would run any better now than they did before.

Agreed that bw compatibility is an amazing feature. Its kind of one of the biggest assets that Microsoft has had over sony this generation.
