    Backwards compatible DLC on disc


    Ok so I just tried to install some of the Borderlands 2 dlc that i own a hard copy of and when I try to access the new areas I get a prompt telling me to buy the dlc again but it let me use the other content on the disc like the extra character and items.
    Also I encountered a similar problem with the Fallout NV ultimate edition but in that case the game simply refused to acknowledge that the extra content was installed. So if anyone has a potential fix let me know.

    It will not let me download the dlc from the 2nd disc onto my Xbox One, the content is backward compatible now, so any help?

    Backwards compatible DLC on disc

    Hi there,

    The Borderlands 2 GoTY edition on Xbox 360 comes with two discs. To use the DLC on Xbox One, you'll need to insert the DLC disc into the console. This will allow you to play both the game and the DLC on the disc. Fallout: New Vegas is the same way.

    Borderlands GOTY xbox 360

    The backward compatible version of the game includes the dlc, so there is no need to install them from the dlc disc.

    If I remember rightly, the backward compatible version of Borderlands had the DLC included in the game, so there was no need to install it. Hence why the DLC disc was not compatible.

    Fallout 3 dlc problems & alien isolation transfer

    If you have the GOTY edition, you shouldn't need the DLC disc. Manage your Fallout 3 game and see if the DLC's are available to download from there.

    Here's the current list of games that are available for backwards compatibility. Alien Isolation is already available on Xbox One so I'm not sure if they will make it backwards compatible.
