Backwards Compatible: Dante's Inferno DLC not registering

My previously purchased DLC for Dante's Inferno isn't showing up in My ready to Install list on my Xbox One, however it shows up on the Xbox website and the In-game marketplace as purchased. I've contacted both EA support and Xbox support and am still waiting
for a resolution.

We need Dante's Inferno, and Enslaved odyssey to the west on Xbox one.

Please bring Enslaved odyssey to the west, And Dante's Inferno to backwards compatibility. That would be so awesome.

 

Have you tried doing a hard reset of your console and clearing your MAC address to see if that triggers it?

Thanks for reaching out to the forums with this situation. I understand you are having issues with previously purchased DLC. The content itself is controlled by the developer of the game itself. Have you checked in your Games & Apps section try pressing
the Menu button (with the three little lines) on the game Dante's Inferno itself and select "Manage Games & Add-Ons" then look in the Ready to Install section for the game itself there. Hopefully you're DLC is in there let me know with a reply how it goes.

 

No it shows up on the Xbox website and in-game market but not in the Ready to Install List

We are currently looking into this issue as we are coming to the conclusion that there may be some technical issues with previously owned DLC's for this backwards compatible game specifically on the Xbox 360 servers. Keep in mind that developers do play
a big part with how their DLC content behaves in the Xbox 360 marketplace and servers.

In the meantime I would suggest getting in contact with EA support to make them aware of this issue. Also it's a good idea to report this to the Xbox team through the

Xbox Insider Hub app. You just need to have it installed and not be enrolled in the program to report a problem. When you hold the power button on your controller, you will see an option to "report a problem".

 

Glad to know it's not just me doing something wrong and that it's a technical problem, It's also on reddit affecting other people apparently:

I've reported it to EA support [Mod Removed - Personal Information] and they referred me back to Xbox support
[Mod Removed - Personal Information] and I tried reporting the problem on the insider hub app but it wouldn't allow me to without joining. So hopefully this will lead to a resolution soon, Thanks for the response

Thank you for your response. For your privacy we are going to remove the ticket numbers since they are your personal case numbers and only customer support can make use of those case numbers.

I was informed the best way to report this issue for further investigation is to contact Xbox Support as you have already done. However, we need to make sure the agent that is following up with you understands this is an issue that you would like investigated.
You can reply to the email the agent should've sent you or you need to contact Support again, provide your case number and inform them the importance of looking deeper into this game on Xbox Live.

 

Delete your profile from your Xbox, do a Power Cicle and download your profile again, If It doesn't work You should talk to Xbox Support.

 

Is there an option to push the download from the website to your console?

 

Yes the option appears I click the download but it doesn't download to the console

 

I never received an email about my issue and every time I try and contact support now and talk to a person and not the virtual assistant I get looped back to the same page again and it's very difficult to find the option to talk to a person and not the
virtual assistant which just redirects me back to the page I started on. I would very much like the issue to be investigated as I have contacted both Microsoft Support and EA support and received no resolution to the issue

We suggest, if it hasn't already been done, to try a soft reset of the console since
the problem might be on the actual OS of the console so we would suggest a

Soft Factory Reset (while keeping games and apps) IF AND ONLY IF THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA IS MET:

• There is a stable network connection.
• The information for all profiles is known (email and passwords)

Once the setup is complete it will ask if we want to keep settings or manual setup lets do manual setup. Give it a shot and let us know of any changes!
