    Backwards Compatible Cloud Saves Not Syncing.... Known Issue?


    Hi there,

    I wanted to make a post as there seems to be a known issue amongst Reddit about syncing your 360 Cloud Saves on Xbox One/Series S/X and even Cloud Gaming within the last 72 hours but it doesn't seem to be a known issue to Microsoft, which is that Cloud Saves for BC games are not syncing. When attempting to Sync, it gives the error 0x8007274D. However, when researched, all documents claim this would be a network issue on the users side. However, I have personally already checked my network connection AND restarted my network, to no resolutions. Also, as I stated before, many users playing BC games are experiencing this issue.

    For reference, this seems to be all BC 360 games on all One, Series, and Cloud platforms, but I was specifically attempting to play Fable 3 on my Series X, One X, and Cloud play from my Samsung TV.

    Are you experiencing the cloud syncing issue when playing a Xbox One game or a Xbox 360 backwards compatibility game? If this is for a backwards compatibility game, did you ensure that the saves you're loading are syncing fully to the cloud? For steps on
    moving your Xbox 360 game saves to the cloud, you can follow the steps on our

    Xbox 1 to 360 save data

    If it's a backwards compatible game for the One, the save is stored on the cloud and should sync up when you play the game on the 360.

    If it's the same game, but the 360 and One versions are considered different, you won't be able to use the same save.

    Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. When you are connected online it will automatically save to the cloud. It will not ask you when online. Only games that ask you are backward compatible but you can only select cloud save when connected
    online. Usually when the offline save is newer when you start game it will sync that one to the cloud. You can try being in the game, go online then see if it syncs with offline save.

    Shouldn't be an issue. Uploading the save to the cloud storage is the way to access them on the Xbox One - a USB will not work for the backwards compatibility.

    You would sign into the account on the One. Any digital games that are backwards compatible would show in your games and apps as ready to install. Any game saves you want to use would need to be saved to the cloud and they will automatically sync when you
