Backwards Compatibiltiy Problems

My Xbox 360 will not play my original Xbox games, bar Halo CE and Halo 2. All games worked fine on my original Xbox and the 360 registers that the disc is from the original Xbox, but the error message saying that 'This game is not supported' appears, despite
it being listed on the official Xbox website as playable on a 360. The games I have tried include: Black, Burnout 3 Takedown, Dead Or Alive 3, Doom 3, Fable The Lost Chapters, Far Cry Instincts, Forza Motorsport, Genma Onimusha, Half-Life 2, Halo Combat Evolved,
Halo 2, Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance, Need For Speed Underground 2, Ninja Gaiden, Oddworld Stranger's Wrath, Project Gotham Racing, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2 and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow. As said before, only Halo CE and Halo 2 will work.
I've tried deleting and re-installing the latest software update, and that still hasn't fixed the issue. Is there any way I could get these games to work? I'd really love to play them in up-scaled 1080p instead of the annoying 480i my original Xbox is running
them at.

WIndows 10 streaming on Xbox One

Hi Guys,

why should we Multiplatform-Gamer buy an Nvidia Shield, when we got an Xbox One?

Streaming Xbox One Games on my PC works fine and I really miss this feature vice versa.

Just a question of how many users are asking for this feature.

Anybody aware of an official feature wish forum, like the one udes for backward compatibiltiy?

Gears of War ultimate edition

Hi, I got gears of war ultimate edition probably 1 or 2 months ago and i didn't realize that you guys sent a message giving out codes for backward compatibiltiy for gears 1,2,and 3. I dont have the message anymore as it has expired, but is there any
way I could still somehow get the codes for these games? I can also prove through my account I actually have ultimate edition if needed.

Sorry to hear it. Can you please post back which type of console you have (FAT, S or E) and what size hard drive you have for it and where the hard drive was purchased.

I liked the idea of the 'Xbox Mini' add on that was rumored, gives the BC fans a chance to buy an attachment to play their 360 games.

I'm not a hardware / software engineer so I don't know the differences between x86 & powerPC architecture, but I do know that there is some form of compatibility between the two as games such as Assassins Creed 4, CoD Ghosts, Watch Dogs & Battlefield 4 are
all coming to 360 as well as being announced for Xbone.

Surely there must be some shared assets & resources there, meaning cross compatibiltiy?

I can't imagine even large dev houses could afford to create big name games on 5 seperate platforms (counting PS3/PS4 and PC) from scratch, all for the same release date.

So if Assassins Creed 4 is ported from 360 build to Xbone, then doesn't that imply that Backwards compatibility could be done with some thought?

Sorry to hear about the issue! Just to clarify, are you saying that you are unable to install BloodRayne: Betrayal on your Xbox One console?

No problem. Just bear in mind that only games that are backwards compatible will be available. You can view a list of backwards compatible games here.

This could be a problem with the game disc and not the console or some problem related to this backward compatible title.
