Backwards Compatibility

Is there a particular website I can go to enroll in this backwards compatibility program? I have about 30 Xbox 360, some of which I've already purchased an Xbox One version, but some of my other games I would love to be able to play on my Xbox One.

 

What you'll need to do is have someone on your friends list who is already in the program send you an invite.

Hey Wonder. You should check your friends list first. Odds are someone there is in the program and can send you an invite.

 

Im pretty sure some of the answers are already answered, but yes. I have found out that games that are community voted will be picked first. So mw2 will be one of the 4 games that will be released to be available for backwards Compatibility. Thank you guys

hello to all guys I'm a member of xbox preview and I are backward of 360 games on one day I bought the game Perfect Dark Zero by gamestop but when I put the CD tells me that I can not use it makes me have to install a solution ?

 

Sorry to hear it FaZe. However any issues with the preview program should be handled through the preview forums.

However, backwards compatibility does require an install of the game regardless of whether it is a digital or CD copy.

 

What happend to the voting section ?

 

I'm sure it'll be a mix of both. Microsoft will have all their games. The rest will be who ever they can get their hands on. Voting I asume whould just get attention.

 

What if i used to have some of the games that come out but they were on discs? Can i still download them for free even if i dont have the physical game anymore?

 

You will need to have either purchased the digital version or own the game on disc. Otherwise you will not be able to play it.

 

Does anyone known how many 360 games can be released in a single backwards compatability update?

So I want to download viva piñata and I don't see it as an option on the Xbox store??? It's on the list for backwards compatibility and I'm a preview member. Should I buy it from my phone and hope it shows up under ready to install??
