Backwards Compatibility

I have a question, with the xbox 360 games being released. Will the community pick which games will be released next on the vote list or its just random?

Because of backward compatibility you will be able to join parties, join games but only the xbox 360 game you have started up.

I would think that it would be the games with the most votes on the Feedback forums first. Xbox has been pretty good about implementing what people what.

However, which games get added do still require input from the developer. So, if the developer decides that they do not want their game on the backwards compatibility list it won't happen.

 

Honestly they need to come out with more exclusive like the batman collection Star Wars collection and black ops

Well it have 30k Votes now.

 

It will be community voted as well as them looking at games that are played a lot still ie black ops 2 is still largely played so expect that to come soon. Microsoft own games will also all be out. So really it will be a mix of areas that they use to update
the list

 

I am having trouble finding Hexic HD in the ready to install panel. I have access to the preview program and I am not sure why it is not appearing

 

Do i have to leave my xbox on while my console is being enrolled to the program

 

No you do not. However, if you choose to leave your console in Instant On status you can set it to automatic downloads and it will update the console automatically while not in use.

 

What about games that I have for 360 but are also available as next gen? Will those come out as back compatible or do I have to rebuy the game in Xbox One format?

 

As the list of backwards compatible games expand digital copies that you have purchased in the past will be added to your Ready to Install list. Disc based copies will need to be installed from the disc.

 

Is it true north american xbox 360 discs will be playable in the xbox preview program?

 

Only the games listed at the following link are available to play by those who have them. Either disc based or digitally.
