backwards compatibility

Discus and support backwards compatibility in XBoX Sales and Promo to solve the problem; my kids own all the skylanders games on xbox 360 and now x1, the xbox 360 has now died and they cant play skylanders on it as i'm not buying another...     my kids own all the skylanders games on xbox 360 and now x1, the xbox 360 has now died and they cant play skylanders on it as i'm not buying another when we have x1 ! when will skylanders be added to the backwards compatibility list so my kids can play the
    games i bought ? any response would be awesome

    Because of backward compatibility you will be able to join parties, join games but only the xbox 360 game you have started up.

    At this time there is no word on if/when it will become available. You can request it at
    Xbox Ideas, powered by UserVoice or contact the developers. Keep an eye on majornelson.com for news about when games become compatible.

    While it is true that backwards compat is on hold. Every backwards compat licensing has to approved by the developer for that game to approve the ability of backwards compatibility. There are some developers unfortunately that will not allow there games
    to be backwards compatible .

    If it's not backward compatible then it's not backward compatible and never will be as they stopped updating the emulator years ago. The only Robotech game that is backward compatible is Battlecry.
