if i already dowloaded the physical backwards compatibity game to use with my 360 disk, do i have to download all over again, if i want to purchase the digital version....or can i just pay for it in the store and use the downloaded game?

Because of backward compatibility you will be able to join parties, join games but only the xbox 360 game you have started up.

Hi, no you do not have to download the game again. Just pay for the game, and you should be able to play it without the disc.

Whether it is a disc or digital purchase, all BC games are downloaded from Xbox Live. The disc is only used as a DRM license, no game data on the disc is actually used for the install process.

If you originally installed the game with a disc but you want to proceed with buying the digital version, you do not have to uninstall the game currently in your storage. You can simply continue playing!

If the game is
backwards compatible and you have a physical version, you can insert the disc into your console and wait for the game to be downloaded on the console (compatible version).

Yes, this is straightforward, my question is: after you have done the download as you mentioned, and you later want to play the game without having to put your physical disc in the xbox, and you BUY the digital version, do you still have to do ANOTHER
download to play the game from a digital file without using your disc. I know that even upif you own the game, you must buy it again to play it digitally, but my question is: do you have to do the download all over again? Thanks!

I can’t log onto Xbox Live when I try to play MW2 on my Xbox One. I have bought and downloaded the game from the Store. I get error code 80151904.

With xbox one backwards compatible games accessories are not compatible. Also only a few games are backwards compatible with more coming

While it is true that backwards compat is on hold. Every backwards compat licensing has to approved by the developer for that game to approve the ability of backwards compatibility. There are some developers unfortunately that will not allow there games
to be backwards compatible .

If it's not backward compatible then it's not backward compatible and never will be as they stopped updating the emulator years ago. The only Robotech game that is backward compatible is Battlecry.
