Backwards compatibility.

Most of my games on Xbox 360 say Play on Xbox One and I'm guessing that means it's Backwards compatible but on my Xbox One they don't show up on the ready to install. One of my favorite games (Black Ops 2) I'm not able to play on Xbox One. I've tried to
find a fix but I'm nothing works. Why are they not appearing on my Xbox One?

Because of backward compatibility you will be able to join parties, join games but only the xbox 360 game you have started up.

Hello! I really dont understand exactly what is your issue with the game, will be good if you be more specific. Do you already own the BOPS Disc for Xbox 360 and you are trying to install it on your Xbox One? or you bought it from the Microsoft Store and
you are trying to downloaded it and doesnt work?

 

Ok, I have the games installed on Xbox 360 and they are backwards compatible. Black Ops 1 shows up on my Xbox One's ready to install same with Modern Warfare 3 but Black Ops 2 and alot of my other games DON'T show up. I don't understand why.

 

Are all the games that are not showing up originally digital downloads? If they were on a disc you need to put the disc in again so the XB1 can download the patches it needs to run the game.

 

If the games were digitally purchased you would have to sign into your xbox one with the account that purchased the games once you do that they would automatically show up in your ready to install section.

If they are on a disc you would have to insert the disc into the console and it would install the game from the disc and you would then have to keep the disc in the console in order to play the game.

The easiest way to tell if you are signed in with a profile that owns the game or not is by going to the store on the console and looking for the game and if it says that you need to purchase the game then the game was not purchased with the profile that
is currently signed in. If it says to install then you are signed in with the profile that purchased the game.

 

Wait. All my Xbox 360 games are from another account but some of them appear and some of them don't. The problem is my other account was falsely perm banned.

When an account is permanently banned, all content pertaining to the account is forfeit. Games will only appear on the ready install for accounts that are signed in. Since you can no longer use your banned account, those games purchases won't appear.
You'll need to buy them again.

Xbox One backwards compatibility also supports original Xbox 360 game discs of games that are on the BC list. Often you can get many of these old games cheaper second hand. You will need an Xbox Live connection (does not need to be Gold) to download the
repackaged games, and you will need to keep the disc in the drive during play.

Also, there no such thing as a false permanent ban.

Really? No false perm ban? Is that why I got banned for buying/selling things that are not allowed such as cheats even though I have no paypal, credit card or any other way of receiving or sending money? I have NEVER used ANYTHING not allowed by microsoft.
There's also a lot of false bans that you can find on the internet. Some of them are not perm but one of them was a communication ban even though the person has never used a mic and has never messaged anything inappropriate. That person was my brother.
