Backwards compatibility?
Every system could be BC. But this is the age of corporate greed, and if there isnt a buck to be made. You can swear to be danged corporate greed will not allow it.
Now hold on a minute.

Would it be technically possible to stuff a 360 into an Xbox One? Yes.

Would it be profitable? No.

Sony did exactly this with the original PS3, which included all the important bits of the PS2 on the PS3 motherboard. The original PS3 was estimated to cost about $840 USD as I recall. It sold for $600. Sony took a $240 loss on every console sold. That's
not profitable, nor sustainable, and is why that model never made it to Europe and did not make it past the first year of the PS3's retail life.

It took Sony over five years to develop a reliable PS2 emulator that can run on Cell and RSX, and even now it only officially works with specific titles sold on PSN. Could Microsoft do the same for 360 titles? Maybe (and that's a BIG maybe), but definitely
not in the less-than-one-year available to Microsoft with a production console to test and perfect it on.
Because every official Xbox 360 HDD includes the same 2GB caching partition that
the original XBOX HDD included. That's why the HDD is required.

2. 24hrs I wasn't referring to the Old *PHAT, whether they be Black, or White (*Pretty, Hot, And.. 6 weeks later... Trashed RROD) consoles, but rather the Slim.

Yes, MS backed HD/DVD, lost and is now including Blu Ray Optic Drives in the X1. So yes, 50 GB.. USE EM. Why not right?

Yes, TitanFall is a 1 GB game. Without signing in, and downloading the entire what. 40-50 GB onto the HDD. The game disc is useless on the X1. Is it not?

Nope. Both Companies wants to do well in European Markets. So AMD is THE only VIABLE OPTION they have. Try searching for why that is.

Thus...

"Stupid stuff"??? Not by a long shot!

Op, I am sorry for my part in messing up your thread a might. 24hrs... If you want to continue this... Send me a PM. If not... See ya around OTHER threads.
Yes, TitanFall is a 1 GB game.
It's around 16GB on Xbox One. The game does not install (at least not in the traditional manner) on Xbox 360.
It
isn't 50GB. The 50GB version of Titanfall is the PC version, which includes ~35GB of uncompressed audio. Titanfall on 360 and Xbox One uses compressed audio because Respawn and Bluepoint knew exactly what audio codec was in each console. They couldn't guarantee
the audio codec on PC, so they went with not needing much of one.
Far as I'm aware it serves the same purpose as any other disc does for an Xbox One title.

Backwards compatibility?

See Electro you are still saying things that you know notging about.

1. So EU gamers are going out and buying consoles because it uses AMD chips? Yes because thats first on the list of things they want on a next gen console.

2. How many GBs a game utilizes doesnt equal a bigger game. Sure they could use all of the space available but they dont have too.

3. How is the game disc useless and where are you getting this 1GB from? This proves my point about you. I sincerely hope that you just troll for the lulz otherwise I feel bad for you.

5. Icestorm: I am sure you're right in every respect (Sarcasm) but this isn't the forum in which to discuss it, now is it?

No the "Topic here" is Backwards Compatibility. For a while I was drawn off topic, but no more as I for one don't wish for the OP's, nor any other person's thread to wind up in the junk pile.

So YOU make a OPEN thread about your concerns, and I'll be glad to post in it. Backwards compatibility? ;)

Have a nice day!

While it is true that backwards compat is on hold. Every backwards compat licensing has to approved by the developer for that game to approve the ability of backwards compatibility. There are some developers unfortunately that will not allow there games
to be backwards compatible .

If it's not backward compatible then it's not backward compatible and never will be as they stopped updating the emulator years ago. The only Robotech game that is backward compatible is Battlecry.
