  1. Backwards Compatibility-Start Focusing More On Console Releases!

I, like many people, have been incredibly pleased with the news about the Xbox One's backwards compatibility. With every new batch of releases, I feel a bit more pleased.

However, while all the various Xbox Live Arcade games are very nice and worthy of this treatment, I can't help but feel a bit disappointed that there aren't more console releases happening. I would very much like it if we had 30 games released in the space
of a month, with 15 XBLA titles, and 15 console titles. I'd especially like to call attention to the games I voted for in the feedback that have yet to be given this treatment.

    -Doom 3 BFG Edition

    -Quake II/Quake 4 Bundle

    -Prey

-Far Cry Classic (XBLA title worthy of treatment)

    -Far Cry 2

    -Far Cry 3

-Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon (XBLA title worthy of treatment)

    -GoldenEye 007: Reloaded

-Call of Duty Classic (XBLA title worthy of treatment)

    -Call of Duty 2

    -Call of Duty 3

-Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

-Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

-Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

-Call of Duty: World at War

-Call of Duty: Black Ops II

    -Call of Duty: Ghosts

    -Battlefield 2: Modern Combat

-Battlefield 1943 (XBLA title worthy of treatment)

    -Battlefield: Bad Company

    -Battlefield: Bad Company 2

-Battlefield: Bad Company 2-Vietnam (XBLA title worthy of treatment)

    -Battlefield 3

    -Battlefield 4

    -Medal of Honor: Airborne

    -Medal of Honor (2010)

    -Medal of Honor: Warfighter

    -Homefront

-Duke Nukem Forever (Actually a really good game, even if it's nowhere near the level of its predecessor)

-Wolfenstein (2009) (Needed to have a completionist set with Wolfenstein 3D, Return to Castle Wolfenstein on Steam, and Wolfenstein The Old Blood and The New Order for Xbox One. It all needs to be together!)

-Borderlands 2 (For those who don't want to buy The Handsome Collection or got the Xbox 360 Triple Pack)

-Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel (For those who don't want to buy The Handsome Collection or got the Xbox 360 Triple Pack)

-Aliens vs. Predator (2010) (Needed as a completionist set with Alien: Isolation for Xbox One)

-Aliens: Colonial Marines (Awful game, but still needed as a completionist set for Alien: Isolation for Xbox One. Plus, it's a case of the trainwreck effect, admittedly with me. Plus, since I only just got Xbox Live when I bought my Xbox One, I want to install
the DLC with Ripley's pulse rifle/flamethrower)

-Peter Jackson's King Kong (One of the early launch titles for Xbox 360, needs to be represented. Ubisoft, I hope you're listening!)

-Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two

    -Final Fantasy XIII

    -Final Fantasy XIII-2

    -Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII

    -Devil May Cry 4

-Assassin's Creed (original) (Needed as completionist set with Unity and Syndicate)

-Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (Needed as completionist set with Unity and Syndicate)

-Assassin's Creed Revelations (Needed as completionist set with Unity and Syndicate)

-Assassin's Creed III (Needed as completionist set with Unity and Syndicate. Plus, since I only just got an Xbox Live Account when I bought my Xbox One, I want to download and install The Tyranny of King Washington)

-Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (Needed as completionist set with Unity and Syndicate)

-Assassin's Creed Rogue (Needed as completionist set with Unity and Syndicate)

-The Simpsons Game (An amazing, humorous game that is among the best EA ever did. I want this game to have a proud spot along the others)

Microsoft, I don't want to sound ungrateful. I'm pleased with what you're doing and I'm sure you'll get to games like these. But I honestly can't help but feel a bit like we're being teased with each new batch of releases, and most of them are XBLA titles
most of us have never heard of. I'd like to see more focus on the console and AAA-based games, and for them to be coming down the pike as fast as possible without sacrificing quality and thorough testing. I feel I speak for us all when I say you'll only be
    doing us a favor.

    :)

  3. Backwards Compatibility-Start Focusing More On Console Releases!

P.S. I bought a Far Cry triple pack with 2, 3 and Blood Dragon in physical copies, but I'm aware BD is technically an XBLA game. I also bought the Assassin's Creed Americas Trilogy set, which has the discs for III and Black Flag, as well as a redemption
code for Liberation. But what good is it if I can't use it for my Xbox Live account that works for my Xbox One?

Also, I hope to buy Call of Duty Classic and Far Cry Classic through my account and installing them on my Xbox One. I want to experience them for myself.

I hope that clarifies any confusion.

If you want to play 360 games then why did you get a xbox one? If you don't have a 360 anymore, it would be worth it to buy another 360 to avoid the headache of trying to take a step forward and then taking 2 steps back like your doing.

  5. I didn't say I threw out my Xbox 360. I still have it. However, my Xbox Live account only covers my Xbox One. Therefore, certain DLCs I want, I can't have unless that game becomes backwards compatible. I also can't move from my Steam versions of the original
Far Cry and Call of Duty unless the Classic titles become backwards compatible so I can buy, download and install them on my Xbox One. Plus, I want to eventually sell the Xbox 360 for money, but I can't until all the games I mentioned become backwards compatible.
I think we can all agree that it would be nice for titles like these to become compatible.

How is it that you xbox live account on covers your One? XBOX Live is user specific not console specific.

  8. I only just got my Xbox One and set up my Xbox Live account around the same time. I don't have a wireless adapter for my Xbox 360.

Can you connect your 360 wired? Wired connections work much better and more reliable than wireless.

  10. It's not located in an advantageous position to do so. Anywyas, I don't have an adapter, and my Xbox Live account recognizes my Xbox One as my "home Xbox", so I'm not sure what would happen if I gave my 360 a connection to my account and bought something
meant for it, as the 360 is not recognized as my "home Xbox."

The home xbox is for the xbox one gold & game sharing features,it has nothing to do with the 360.

Just download your profile onto your 360 & off you go,you can even be signed in on both consoles at the same time.

I'm with the others, why would you buy an xbox one if you want to play 360 games?

I suspect half of the games on your list will never be backwards compatible anyway. Some of the games on your list already have xbox one versions so why would they be made backwards compatible?

So, if I get an adapter and download my profile, and I want to buy The Tyranny Of King Washington DLC for Assassin's Creed III, it'll download to the Xbox 360?

Also, I bought the Xbox One because I wanted to play Black Ops III in its non-gimped version, play the entire Halo collection, and things like that. Plus, I had a feeling that backwards compatibility would be moving more than it has. All I care is that more
console titles become available at one time.

  13. More games will be released for backwards compatibility, the thing is it comes down to the publishers of these games to re-release them. I know something like Ghosts wont be re-released because there's already an Xbox One version.

It'll take time though, but a lot of these games will eventually be released for backwards compatibility.
