So I'm trying to play Viva Pinata: TIP however I can't sign in to my gamer profile which of course means I can't save.

You can actually sign in on this web site and send your feedback for Backwards Compatibility feature on Xbox One. You can request a game to be added and to be played using the new-gen console:

Kinect Sports Series

Unfortunately no, it looks like Original Kinect games will more than likely will not make the transition in the backwards compatibility.

You need to post in the preview program, as its only preview members who can use BC at the moment.

I'm having the same issues and it's not just with the preview program. I own the games now through rare replay and iam having the same sign in issues but when I play the game on my wifes console it's load my 360 info no problem. Can any help. I've found
no good info. My xbox is set as my home console so I dunno why I can play the 360 games on my wifes console and not mine

I have since found that when using a wired internet connection and not wifi this problem does not happen.

Yeah. There are several threads with this issue. It's not just Gears 3, but a general issue with backwards compatibility I believe.

I am having the same issues. Can't wait until there is a solution.

The weird thing with me is that I actually WAS connected to Xbox Live for about an hour. I shut off my box, and signed in later only to not have it connect to XBL on the backwards compatibility.
