Backwards Compatibility Sign-in error.

Hello, I was hoping y’all might be able to help me with an issue I have; I’m trying to play Assassins Creed via backwards compatibility on my Xbox One S and it asks me to select a game profile for my saves. The gamertag that shows is an older one I had
before I changed it to my current one: Jose Turruellas. It should still be with my current Microsoft Account.

I use my current Microsoft account with the correct password and it reads “That password didn’t work. Make sure your password is between 6-16 characters, or use your app password if you set up two-step verification.”

Now, I have two-step verification. I don’t know what they mean by “App Password”, is that referring to Microsoft Authenticator app (which I also have). Is there another way i can verify my account besides inputting a password? When i click “Can’t access
your account”, it should open the browser to reset the password or something but all it does is close the game application. I did reset the password to my Microsoft account in the hopes that would solve the issue but it didn’t solve this issue. I also deleted
the Local 360 data on my Xbox One via the settings app and still, nothing.

I’m reaching out to you after trying everything that comes to mind and reading up on current, and outdated forums.

Removing my profile by going into settings, choosing the option to Keep games and apps and then resetting the console, followed by resigning into my account and completing the initial console setup worked. I started Assassins Creed with my current Account
already selected and signed in, Thank you.

Sorry about that issue, things to try

> on the main menu, press and HOLD 10 sec the power button of the console , wait 30 sec, restart and try

> If still not working , remove your profile from the Xbox one , then add it back to sync all infos.

Also error 80151904 what's happening to your backwards compatibility can't we just play it without our gamer tags because it's the one causing the error c'mon just do it for backwards compatibility pls

This is a backward compatibility error, not a disc play. Googling the error code, I see that the problem has existed for years, in different people with different games for backward compatibility on disks. This site has hundreds of topics about this error,
so it’s not about scratches on the disk...

Not all 360 titles are backwards compatible that may be the reason you are receiving that error.
