Backwards compatibility question.

Hi everyone.

I have a question about the Xbox One. I know backwards compatibility is coming and certain 360 games with be able to be played on the One, but what about games purchased on the 360 marketplace? Games that are saved on the 360 hard drive, but still attached
to the account. Will those be allowed to be downloaded to the Xbox One and played that way?

Question about backwards compatibility I get my xbox one Xbox Live through another account because its home Xbox is my xbox, thus I get xbox live. Will I still have the xbox live on the 360 emulator when I use backwards compatibility?

This is a great question! To answer your question any game listed on the Backwards compatible list will work on the xbox one you can find that list here

www.xbox.com/.../backward-compatibility In your situation you have to have the exact game on that list your best bet is to reach out to the game developer and let them know you want it backwards compatible. They don't know unless people like you tell them.

Yes both digital and disc based games but not all digital games you own will be on the list right away if ever

Yes games that have been bought from the marketplace will work on xbox one. When you go to games and app section you scroll all the way to the right and they be there ready to install. Your saves and achievements will also be there has long has you have
uploaded the save file to the cloud from you 360 hard drive 1st.

If you don't have a game that is back compatable then you can buy that game from your xbox 360 or from xbox.com and it will download to your 360 and one.
