    backwards compatibility and Xbox Live

Question about backwards compatibility I get my xbox one Xbox Live through another account because its home Xbox is my xbox, thus I get xbox live. Will I still have the xbox live on the 360 emulator when I use backwards compatibility?

This is a great question! To answer your question any game listed on the Backwards compatible list will work on the xbox one you can find that list here

    www.xbox.com/.../backward-compatibility
In your situation you have to have the exact game on that list your best bet is to reach out to the game developer and let them know you want it backwards compatible. They don't know unless people like you tell them.

    Thanks for your question.

    Backwards Compatibility Question

They still sell gamecodes for 360?

    Doubtfull

They dont even sell the discs new

If you mean old promo codes I highly doubt they will even still work

  5. Hi, yes you can still purchase full game & dlc codes for the Xbox 360, and if the game is backward compatible, you can play that game on the Xbox One.

    Hi there!

You can do so, yes. Backwards Compatibility Question :) If you run into any issues when redeeming codes, (besides the 'already redeemed' message), the game or DLC content may have been removed from the Xbox Live Marketplace/Xbox Games Store.

For a list of what's available, hit the jump: Xbox One Backward Compatibility List | Xbox

You can still buy game codes for 360. In fact, it’s cheaper to buy game codes for 360 games from places like Cdkeys.com than it is from the marketplace.

  8. Backwards Compatibility Question

Yes, absolutely. I bought a download Xbox 360 code for Dead Red Redemption when it became BC for the Xbox One. I redeemed it on the console and downloaded it no problem. DLC codes for BC games will work too.

    Hi,

You will need to make sure that the games in question are on the backwards compatibility list of games. Unfortunately not all games are backwards compatible.
