Backwards Compatibility question.

With all the hype about the Xbox One getting Backwards Compatibility I'm curious about something. Everybody's saying you can use the discs, or previous Digital downloads. But no one's actually said if you could BUY the Compatible 360 games from the Xbox
Store for download.

Question about backwards compatibility I get my xbox one Xbox Live through another account because its home Xbox is my xbox, thus I get xbox live. Will I still have the xbox live on the 360 emulator when I use backwards compatibility?

This is a great question! To answer your question any game listed on the Backwards compatible list will work on the xbox one you can find that list here

www.xbox.com/.../backward-compatibility In your situation you have to have the exact game on that list your best bet is to reach out to the game developer and let them know you want it backwards compatible. They don't know unless people like you tell them.

Yes, you'll be able to buy the on marketplace when it launches. Even when you use a disc, the actual game is downloaded from Live. The disc is just to prove ownership.

 

Except for certain games that require one 360 console to be registered to check for compatibility usually halo or gears or darksiders
