    Backwards compatibility profile issues


    Hi, please help.

    When loading up a backwards compatible game, i get a "disconnected from xbox live" error message.

    After getting to the main menu and pressing start, the select profile screen pops up asking me to select a profile, so i do, then a new message appears saying "Sorry, this profile can't connect to Xbox Live on this console. To fix it, download it again."

    I assumed this was asking me to reinstall the game so i did but that didn't work.

    So i am now very confused and unhappy, please help.

    (This happens on all backwards compatible games).

    Have you tried dong a power cycle on your console? Hold down the power button for 5-10 seconds, then turn the console back on.

    Hiya OHheyitswill,

    Have you tried a Factore Restore of your console? You can now choose to do so without erasing all of your games and apps. Go to Settings>All Settings>System>Console Info and Updates>Restore. Make sure to check the Keep My Games and Apps box!
