    Backwards Compatibility Problem


    Whenever I play a 360 Backwards Compatibility(BC) games I will randomly get disconnected from Xbox Live, but only on the 360 end not the Xbox One(XB1) end . Here are some notes for the smart types:

    -Its not isolated to one game because it happens to me on Left 4 Dead 2, Gears of War 2, Peggle, COD: Black Ops, AND MORE.

    -Not my connection because I remain on XBL on the XB1 dashboard. Also, my other devices stay connected.

    -Doesn't happen on XB1 games....ever

    -Happens when I'm in a party on XB1 and 360. Happens when I'm not in a party.

    -My download is between 50-100mbps, Upload is between 15-30mbps

    -I'm on a wireless signal, 100% reception. Switching to a wired connection soon to try that (doubtful).

    -I forwarded the necessary ports required for XBL according to Support.

    -I've taken down the firewall on my router.

    -I have deleted the games and reinstalled them.

    -I have deleted my gamer profile and re-downloaded it on XB1 and 360.

    -My NAT type is OPEN.

    -Doesn't matter if its on disc or not. I actually purchased L4D2 digitally even though I own the disc to try and alleviate the issue

    My Account won't stay connected to xbox live on backwards compatibility.

    I'm having a problem with backwards compatibility. My xbox live account disconnects from xbox live when I attempt to log in on the 360 menu on backwards compatibility for Xbox one.

    No problem. Just bear in mind that only games that are backwards compatible will be available. You can view a list of backwards compatible games here.

    If the original games are listes as backward compatible games you should be able to play them with no problem at all... look HERE for compatible games...

    problem with Mass Effect 3 disks

    Your not the only one having problems with backward compatibility on using the disc. I was able to download it with no problem. The problem I'm having with it is it starts to search for downloadable content on a continuous loop of searching for downloadable
    content. I think the backward compatibility download may have a bug or glitch in the software.

    This could be a problem with the game disc and not the console or some problem related to this backward compatible title.
