  1. Backwards Compatibility Prices

So I know I'm going to probably get a lot of flack from this from a lot of people were just going to basically complain that I need to keep my mouth shut but I'm just wondering.....

Why in the world are the backwards compatibility prices of all the Xbox 360 games for the Xbox One $19.99? I mean come on seriously most of these games go for under $5 at GameStop used and they go for under $10 brand new. A lot of the games that are now
backwards compatible we're under $5 a few months ago and now all the sudden they're $19.99 I was just wondering if there was a reason for it or if maybe Xbox has a good explanation as to why they're overcharging people it's bad enough we already got to pay
$60 for a digital download. And the reason why I say it's bad enough is because well a digital download cuts out all the middle men and when I say that I mean you don't have to print a box to put the game and you don't have to put the game on a disk you don't
have to print the labels up you don't have to send it to Walmart or Target or Best Buy or wherever you're sending into you go directly from your service to our hard drive. Getting a little bit too much of these prices especially considering most games now
    have all nothing but microtransactions.

    :)

  2. Reverse compatible xbox one

We're stuck in a loop. Res, Backwards compatibility, price, Kinect, Res, Backwards compatibility, price, Kinect. I'd like to hear about something else, even if it is a complaint.

Personally I'm willing to give up backwards compatibility if it reduces the price by a decent amount.

    Backwards Compatibility Prices

You are comparing two different things

First gamestores set their own prices

With no longer supported systems they have to clear old inventory so they give you clearance price g

Digital marketplaces don't have shelf space issues

And last and the most significant the publishers set the prices on any game store you will only see discounts during publisher sales on any console

Not to mention with used disks once you lose or sell or damage them you no longer can pay them digital versions don't have that issue

There are actually 3 main price tiers. BC games are generally $19.99, $14.99, $9.99 so right out of the gate your statement is incorrect.

I also see things like Grid 2 which is a current GWG ( for a few more days) and only a couple of years old for $24.99. I'm sure there must be others. It also is on sale for Gold members for the All In Pack, which includes all DLC for $17.49.

Threads like this aren't requests for support and generally are locked or deleted. You would be better off posting in one of the general game forums such as

    Xbox gold

Is it a backwards compatibility title?

When I download backwards compatible 360 games from Games with Gold, I have to hit "see price," select a billing option, and then "purchase" the game. The price is listed as free, though, and I don't get billed.
