    Please be aware that being invited does not guarantee you'll get in the preview program. The preview program has reached/is reaching capacity so the flow of people actually being accepted into it has been dramatically decreased.

    You should browse this forum and read all about the issues. It may change your mind if you're actually wanting to be a beta tester.

    Xbox one backwards cipmibilty

    Hi,

    you cannot receive invites to the preview program (to get backwards compatability) in the support forums.

    You need to be invited by a friend or find someone in the general discussion or community forums.

    Request to become a preview member

    Backwards compatibility has already been released to the public, so you would not need to be a preview member to play Halo Wars. That game is not compatible yet, so even as a preview member, you wouldn't be able to play it.

    Invites for the preview program are not given via the forums. You would need to have someone who is already in the program invite you. Being invited does not guarantee you will be accepted into the program.

    I am still waiting for my invitation to the xbox one backward compatibility !!!!!!!

    Being invited is not a guarantee you will be accepted into the program. The program has also been at capacity for several months so they are barely letting anyone else in if it all. The preview program involves a lot more than just backwards compatibility.
    The update with backwards compatibility will roll out to everyone on the 12th, so at this point there really is no reason to be added to the preview if that is all you're looking for.
