    Backwards compatibility patches for Xbox One


    My fiance is in a treatment facility that required the wifi be removed from the system. He wants to be able to load patches for Xbox 360 games via USB that I can download to send to him. How do I do this? I'm not very well versed in the gaming community so if you can explain this to me like I'm an idiot - which when it comes to gaming, I am - I would be grateful.

    There is no patch available for the backward compatible game on the Xbox 360. If you have a Xbox One, then playing it on there would be your better option.

    Hi, no there is no workaround for this. You have to be online to install a backward compatible game, due to the fact that it is the full backward compatible game that downloads from Xbox Live, not just the patch, this is because the game also includes the
    emulator to be able to play the game on the Xbox One.

    Black Ops wasn't announced, it was listed as "Coming Soon."

    Treyarch and Activation has to give Microsoft permission to release this as a backwards compatible title. Then Treyarch needs to create a patch for the backwards compatible version and Microsoft will have to test the game on their emulator before releasing
    it to the public.

    Since it is a backwards compatible title, sometimes there are updates to the game specifically that apply towards the backwards compatible features. It might not be an update to the game itself. So if there was no news or details on updates from Rockstar
    than it might be a patch from Microsoft to better emulate the title on the Xbox One.
