backwards compatibility patch

Discus and support backwards compatibility patch in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; i unfortunately dont have a cd burner to download the patch from the microsoft page, is there anyway to download it dircetly to the 360? i went to the...     i unfortunately dont have a cd burner to download the patch from the microsoft page, is there anyway to download it dircetly to the 360? i went to the download page on my console but it says the storage device doesnt allow direct downloads.....i think it
    should allow you to download directly, its the whole reason i even downloaded ie to my 360.....id really love to play my old xbox games but my old system is dead (drive no longer reads discs). any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Because of backward compatibility you will be able to join parties, join games but only the xbox 360 game you have started up.

    If the console has been updated since 2009, you should already have any updates required to play backwards compatible games.

    I doubt there will be a patch because they ended with the backward compatible games since 2007.

    Only backwards compatible titles

    You need to connect to live with the disc in to download the patch

    Black Ops wasn't announced, it was listed as "Coming Soon."

    Treyarch and Activation has to give Microsoft permission to release this as a backwards compatible title. Then Treyarch needs to create a patch for the backwards compatible version and Microsoft will have to test the game on their emulator before releasing
    it to the public.

    xbox is a paperweight without internet.

    Backwards compatibility titles must connect to rhe internet at least ONCE to download the bc patch for that specific game
